In the Protestant Christian Church ⛪ I was attending regularly in and almost become a listed member in, I found out that the church I attended in worked like a business. The listed members included Board Members who were some of the richest people in Tacloban City, Born Again Christians. The members also were encouraged to pay Tithes of about ten percent of their income.
once I heard that a member had to pay for Pastor Steve and Leslie's rent for the house. The member was their next door neighbour. Pastor Steve complained of the member's noisy dogs. The Moslem man told me about them being Treasure Hunters looking for the Yamashita Treasure, General Yamashita The Tiger 🐅who was a Japanese General who hid looted treasure and gold all over Asia during World War Two. He told me to look for X marks on the ground and floor, half an X points towards the treasures. The Moslem had a land dispute over the Subdivision housing complex being built. This was in 1999 to 2000 AD sometime. The Yamashita The Tiger's Treasure includes Zanzibar or small gold bar ignots bullion.
The Protestant Born Again Christian Church ⛪I attended from 1997 to 2000 was called Tacloban Bible Community, the American Missionaries in charge were Pastor Paul and Margie Varberg, Steve and Leslie Houston, other church ⛪pastors were Tim and Tammy Howerda, Dwayne and Gladys Thielke, Pastor Joel and Patty Hogan.
